1. Scope and information you provide
This notice covers the MarketPulse website. Account, portfolio, alert, payment and waitlist functions depend on service availability. Do not submit sensitive information when a function reports that it is unavailable.
When sign-in is available, Google supplies your account identifier, name, email address and profile image. MarketPulse does not receive your Google password. Information you choose to save can include watchlists, portfolio holdings, quantities, purchase prices and alert thresholds. A waitlist submission includes your email address and the page where you signed up.
2. Purposes and recipients
We use submitted information to provide the functions you request, associate saved records with your account, manage subscriptions and address service or security problems. Hosting providers process network and request information needed to deliver and protect the website.
Cloudflare provides hosting. Google processes sign-in requests. Where payment functions are available, Stripe processes checkout and billing; MarketPulse handles customer and subscription identifiers and plan status. Market-data services receive requests needed to return the selected quotes. These providers may process data in countries other than your own and have their own privacy notices.
3. Cookies and measurement
A session cookie supports sign-in, and a short-lived authentication cookie protects the sign-in process. Blocking these cookies can prevent account functions from working. Clearing cookies signs you out but does not delete server records.
The website includes an optional Google Analytics integration for page use and conversion events when configured. This may send page, browser and event information to Google. This notice is not consent to optional tracking.
4. Retention and your choices
There is no verified single retention period for all account, billing, operational and backup records. Deleting an item through an available control does not necessarily remove copies held in backups or records that must be kept for legal obligations. We do not promise that all associated data is erased within a fixed number of days.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or receive a copy of personal data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent and complain to a competent data-protection authority. These rights may be subject to identity verification and lawful exceptions. This notice does not limit statutory rights.
5. Security and updates
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Do not put passwords, payment-card details or other sensitive material into portfolio names or other free-text fields.
The date above identifies this notice version. Changes to a notice do not themselves authorize a new use of personal data or replace consent where required.
